This is also the best Janie's Mill flour to use if you have a bread machine.

AMAZING Flour!

I never found KA bread flour to be that great and found an organic flour that I had been using for a while that was better. I had used Janie’s Mill Black Emmer, Sifted Durum, and some others and have been pleased with the superior quality and taste. The High Protein and Sifted Artisan flours went on sale, and I decided to give them a try. I’m SO glad I did — the quality, performance, freshness, texture, and taste are outstanding!

As always, super high quality and very nice taste. Definitely lighter tasting than the Whole-Kernel Bread flour, which is a nice change on occasion.

Wonderful flour to bake

I first heard about Janie’s Mill 4 years ago. I did purchase a few flour varieties to try. I wasn’t successful with my baked so had to hold off purchasing more flours until late last year.

I don’t use this flour 100% on my baked as it’s a bit pricey for me personally. However, it is a very nice flour and yields wonderful flavor baguettes. I add about 15% of this flour with another flour when I bake the traditional baguettes. It adds a very balanced sweetness, caramelization and colors to my finished baguettes that I absolutely enjoy.

Sourdough and crepes

I ise this flour for my sourdough bread and add 20% black Emmer and some cracked wheat . The flavor profile is amazing! This morning for new years breakfast i made crepes also the best tasting ever!
