DOES NOT TASTE LIKE TRADITIONAL SOUR DOUGH

I am a seasoned sour dough bread baker for over 5 years. I decided to give this flour a try - I am very disappointed in all 4 types of flour i tried - simply because they are not as described. There is no way you can make a. good sour dough - the wheat flavor is so strong - you would never taste the sour flavor. And its an odd flavor that you would need to get used to. This flour works for cookies - as there is alot of sugar in cookies to mask the strong flour taste. i wish someoe would have cautioned me about how strong the dough flavor is -- if you want to make traditional sour dough. - you need a basic white fine flour and this brand does not carry anything like this. I even got their pastry flour and that was still gamey and strong.

Made best bread ever

I've been making sourdough since lockdown and have kept it up. I thought I had a good formular down, but wow has this flour made an enormous difference to the flavor of my finished loaves and to the performance of my starter. Will definitely be stocking up!

The Sifted Artisan flour is so outstanding and delicious as bread and rolls, I have to force myself to try the other flours I ordered. So glad I broke through the google search barriers with Startpage search results. Their Janies Mill was on the first page.

AMAZING Flour!

I never found KA bread flour to be that great and found an organic flour that I had been using for a while that was better.
