    Our organic rye berries are popular for milling, malting, distilling, and using in grain bowls. To prepare the whole grain, simply measure out the desired amount of rye berries into a saucepan and add three to four times as much water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about an hour or until tender. Drain and set aside to cool, or serve immediately in a breakfast bowl, dinner grain bowl, or salad. Try this rye berry salad, and feel free to substitute whatever herbs, nuts, or fruits you have on hand.

Tasty Rye!

Made my first pumpernickel loaf using your Whole Rye Berries and the loaf is delicious. My recipe called for a three day process and finally we tasted the results this morning - amazing!!

Sourdough starter loves this!

I grind this to flour as part of what I use for my sourdough starter. My starter is strong and reacts fast to this. I also get a good rise on my bread! I love it!
